Herbert Kings died from unspecified causes on 30th March, 1915 while in England. It is not known if he died from wounds or from illness, both of which took their toll of the men on active service. Nor is it not known if he served overseas.The 3rd Hussars went to France at the beginning of the war in August, 1914 as part of 4 Cavalry Brigade, 2nd Cavalry Division.
